Storming Camel Motorsport is a UK-based amateur motorsport team comprising of passionate Motorsport fans focused on going racing.
A Driving Force sharing a common goal, to go racing and enjoy the thrill of Motorsport
Formed in 2012 by Nik and Katie Grove and now co-owned by Carlo Turner, the team competes in the 750 Motor Club Endurance series racing a BMW Motorsport-build E87 130i.
Drivers, Nik and Carlo, alongside their equally passionate support team of friends, family and sponsors, travel the UK and Europe to fulfil their passion for the sport. From racing at some of the UK’s leading race tracks including Oulton Park and Brands Hatch to international Formula 1 status circuits including Silverstone and Spa-Francorchamps, Storming Camel share a common goal.

The car
Storming Camel Motorsport are currently racing a BMW E87 130i, known as SC3 – the third car in the team’s history.
Built by BMW Motorsport for a one-make series in France, 30 E87 130i models were made to BMWCup standards but the series only lasted one year and the cars were dispersed throughout Europe.
The Storming Camel team decided to make a serious investment in a new car for the 2019 season to enable them to challenge at a higher level, as well as giving a platform to use for the foreseeable future.
BMW built these cars for endurance racing and many have taken part in serious 24-hour events such as the Dubai 24-hour and Spa 24-hour.
There’s no doubt that this is is a serious piece of machinery and moves Storming Camel Motorsport to another level from their SC1 and SC2 cars.
